Pag-ampo sa usa ka public servant

Matud pa, ang pagka-public servant, dili privilege, kondili, usa ka responsibiliad, subay sa giingon nga ‘public office is a public trust.’ Alang kini, dili sa mga public officials lamang, kondili lakip na ang mga regular, temporary ug job-order employees, nga moalagad unta sila with utmost integrity and honesty, and with a sense of patriotism.

Si Fr. Jerry M. Orbos, SVD, nitagik niining pag-ampo sa usa ka public servant, diin iyang giuna ang pagpasalamat, sa pag-ingon: “Almighty and eternal God, I praise and thank you for calling me to serve Your people.”

Padayon: “Give me Your anointing and help not to seek power or position, rather make me a vessel of Your grace to touch the life of our people and seek to be worthy of Your love. Lord, make me a channel to Your heart, use me as a channel to Your compassion, that I may be an instrument of peace and hope to everyone; “Give me courage to be an agent of change, to achieve our dream of transformation; Finally, we asl You to heal our land and restore faith and righteousness in our nation. Amen.”

Ako, na-public servant man sad ko, apan wala gyud kahunahuna sa pag-ampo ug pagpasalamat sa Ginoo sa kahigayonan nga gihatag nganhi kanako, nga makaalagad sa publiko.

Busa, karon nga medyo wala ma-at peace ang atong nasud, kamong mga public servants, lakip ang kasundalohan ug kapolisan, pause for a moment and utter prayers for serenity, harmony and stability sa atong nasud. Ato kining ma-achieve kon maghiusa lamang kita.
