Pag-ampo sa usa ka alagad sa lungsod

Gikan sa libro ni Fr. Jerry Orbos, SVD, ania kining pag-ampo sa usa ka public servant:
“Almighty and eternal God, I praise and thank you for calling me to serve Your people.”

Ikaw, gawas sa pagpaslamat sa politician nga nagbutang sa imong nahimutangan karon, nagdayeg ug nagpaslamat ba usab ikaw sa Labawng Makagagahom sa paghatag kanimo’g kahigayon nga maka-alagad sa katawhan sa Ginoo?

Padayon: “Lord, give me Your anointing and help me not to seek power or position but rather make me a vessel of Your grace to touch the life of our people and seek to be worthy of Your love.

“Mold me to Your heart. Use me as a channel of your compassion. Help me to be worthy of your trust that I may be the instrument of peace and hope to everyone, “Give me courage to be an agent of change to achieve our dream of transformation. Help me to be worthy of Your trust; Give me courage to be an agent of change, to achieve our dream of transformation; “Lord, may our public servants truly become servants (not masters) in our earthly journey. Amen.”

And Lord, (labina karong panahona), “we ask You to heal our land and to restore faith and righteousness to our nation.,” nga unta magkahiusa na kami, inay magkatibulaag. Matud pa, “Being a good public servant means putting the community first, acting with total honesty, listening closely to people, and working hard every day to solve real problems fairly and openly.”
